Hunger der Andronowo-Kultur nach Erz und Zinn. „It is remarkable that
the appearance of the Andronovo culture in Middle Asia was always
associated with metallurgical activities (Chernykh 1992; Parzinger
2006). Numerous artifacts and other evidence point towards mining as
well as the processing of ores. Prehistoric mines and settlements in
which ores were extracted and processed, ascribable to the Andronovo
culture, are known in areas in the modern states of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan
and Tajikistan.“ 2
