The handing-over of the Ferrari Experience roof structure to the client ahead of schedule marked the successful completion of a spectacular MERO-TSK project on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Merging the customary competence and product quality for innovative technical performance at the highest level with enhancements in the production and logistics sector, MERO-TSK has laid the basis for a further global expansion of the individual MERO-TSK product divisions. MERO-TSK is a highly valued partner whenever leading architects are looking for a company able to execute geometrically and technically complex projects. A case in point is a cultural centre designed Editorial Editorial by Zaha Hadid Architects which is currently under construction by MERO-TSK in Baku, Azerbaijan. Recently, MERO-TSK has been awarded another major project and is looking forward to realizing the unique visions of the architects. In October 2009 we returned to the American market for Construction Systems with MERO Structures, Inc., Atlanta. MERO-TSK Airport-Technik offers highest functionality, ergonomics and longevity as well as easy handling. The efficiency of MERO docks for maintenance and overhaul for all types of aircraft remains uncontested. In spite of the current economic crisis, the product division Floor Systems was able to increase its share in the international market. This was possible due to innovative new developments for the individual product lines, and also thanks to a consistent evaluation of customer demands. The product range is now in accordance with the highest level of environmental standards (e.g. LEED Platinum). Hollow floors and access floors can be additionally fitted with certified MERO systems for heating and cooling. The maximum load for floor systems could be more than doubled, which opened new areas of application in the production-related sector. Additionally, a totally new product line of dry hollow floors was launched. In the product division Exhibit Systems the Meroform construction system M12 was updated with a view to topical customer demands on design and special equipment. This development has been honoured with the “red dot design award”. The market launch is planned for next year. In future, the individualization of exhibit systems with colour will become an option. Exhibit architects will be able to design unique stands with utterly new creative ideas. In addition, it will also become possible to rent exhibit systems with a purchase option. 3
