Dear competitors<br />
It is hard to believe, but this year will be the ninth<br />
time that service dog handlers will be competing<br />
in the fair and keenly-contested Swiss Open<br />
championship.<br />
Victory is only secondary. The main aim is for<br />
man and dog to present their skills as a team,<br />
and for the competitors to cultivate their fellowship.<br />
For human beings and dogs to work together<br />
successfully every day to bring security to<br />
our society is a great accomplishment in itself.<br />
