Im Jahre 1969 konstruierte und baute Hans Dieter <strong>Wiechers</strong><br />
den ersten <strong>Wiechers</strong> Überrollbügel für einen BMW<br />
Typ 02. Hiermit begann die Erfolgsgeschichte der <strong>Wiechers</strong><br />
GmbH. Die Nachfrage nach <strong>Wiechers</strong> Produkten stieg kontinuierlich<br />
an, so dass die Firma mehrfach in neue Gebäude<br />
umziehen musste. Bis schließlich 1999 der jetzige Standort<br />
mit 13.500 m² Betriebsgelände und 5.600 m² Nutzfläche<br />
der Firma genügend Reserven zum Wachsen bietet.<br />
In 1969 Hans Dieter <strong>Wiechers</strong> designed and built the first<br />
<strong>Wiechers</strong> roll bar for a BMW Type 02. This was the beginning<br />
of a lasting success for <strong>Wiechers</strong> GmbH. The demand<br />
for <strong>Wiechers</strong> products was rising continuously resulting<br />
in several relocations to larger facilities. Ultimately in<br />
1999 a new facility with 13.500 m² premises and 5.600<br />
m² floor space was launched enabling us to have enough<br />
reserve for growths.<br />

FO-CS System / Fix Opening and Closure Security System<br />
<strong>Wiechers</strong> <strong>Sport</strong> setzt neue Sicherheitsmaßstäbe<br />
Im Motorsport spielt Zeit eine große Rolle. Dies gilt insbesondere auch bei<br />
Unfällen. Die Bergung von verletzten Fahrern und Fahrerinnen erfolgt immer<br />
unter Zeitdruck. Ab sofort kann sichergestellt werden, dass die Rettungskräfte<br />
barrierefrei arbeiten und verunfallte Fahrer problemlos und ohne zusätzliches<br />
Verletzungsrisiko aus dem havarierten Fahrzeug bergen können.Das<br />
FO-CS System ist bei der FIA und dem DMSB homologiert und wird sowohl<br />
im Spitzen- als auch im Breitensport einen ähnlichen Standard setzen wie das<br />
seit Jahren etablierte HANS-System.<br />

<strong>Wiechers</strong> <strong>Sport</strong> and GTM GmbH to set new safety standards<br />
Nothing is as important as time in motor sports. Particularly with regards<br />
to recovering drivers in case of accident. As from now a new safety<br />
device enables emergency services to rescue injured drivers from the<br />
wrecked vehicle barrier free and without additional risk of injury. Receiving<br />
homologation by F.I.A. and DMSB, the new quick release device<br />
for lateral impact protections of roll cages will set new safety standards<br />
in professional racing as well as for amateur motor sports competitors,<br />
comparable to the well-established HANS-System.<br />
F.I.A. und DMSB homologierter Schnellverschluss für Seitenaufprallbefestigungen<br />

Der farbige Sicherungsstift kann im Bedarfsfall von Hand gezogen werden, bietet<br />
aber auch die Möglichkeit der Paniköffnung mit einem 24er Ringschlüssel.<br />

Unsere Überrollbügel und –käfige erhalten Sie für fast alle<br />
gängigen Fahrzeugtypen als Standardprodukt in 4 verschiedene<br />
Materialausführungen (siehe unten). Die verschiedenen<br />
Ausführungsmöglichkeiten sehen Sie auf den Seiten<br />
6 und 7. Die Stahl-Bügel und –Käfige werden in schwarz<br />
lackiert oder unlackiert geliefert. Wir können Ihre Überrollbügel<br />
und -käfige auch in einem anderen RAL-Ton Ihrer<br />
Wahl lackieren oder pulverbeschichten (siehe S. 8). Aluminium-Bügel<br />
und –Käfige gibt es in Natur oder hochglanzpoliert.<br />
Das Befestigungsmaterial gehört immer zum Lieferumfang.<br />
Wir sind Spezialisten für mittragende Käfigkonstruktionen.<br />
Unsere Produkte werden in direkter Zusammenarbeit<br />
mit dem DMSB und der FIA entwickelt.<br />
Erklärung „Herstellergutachten“<br />
Mit Hilfe dieses Dokuments können Sie den Überrollbügel oder<br />
–käfig in Ihrem Fahrzeugbrief eintragen lassen. Achtung! Je nach<br />
Land oder Region gibt es verschiedene Verordnungen und Eintragungsregeln,<br />
so dass wir nicht immer für die Eintragung garantieren<br />
können. Außerdem reicht dieses Herstellergutachten<br />
bei Überrollkäfigen aus Stahlrohr ST52 45x2,5 / 40x2 mm für<br />
den Einsatz bei nationalen Motorsportveranstaltungen aus.<br />
Erklärung „DMSB Zertifikat“<br />
Für Überrollkäfige aus Stahlrohr „25 CrMo 4“ wird für die<br />
Teilnahme an DMSB-Motorsportveranstaltungen in jedem<br />
Fall ein DMSB-Zertifikat benötigt! Bei Fahrzeugen, die bis<br />
zum 31.12.2001 homologiert wurden, sind Überrollkäfige<br />
aus unserem Standardprogramm (Seite 6 und 7) ausreichend.<br />
Bei neueren Fahrzeugen sind umfangreichere Konstruktionen<br />
notwendig. Die Preise dafür sind unterschiedlich und müssen<br />
im Einzelfall festgelegt werden. (siehe Seite 5 und 9).<br />

Our standard program includes roll bars and cages for almost<br />
all vehicle types of the major brands. The products are manufactured<br />
in 4 different material specifications. To have a look at<br />
the materials see the chart at the bottom of this page. Please<br />
turn to page 7 to check the variety of layout options.All steel<br />
roll cages and roll bars are available with black finish or natural.<br />
We can also varnish or powder coated your roll bars and cages<br />
in an other RAL tone (see page 8). The aluminium products are<br />
delivered with either polished or untreated surface. All necessary<br />
mounting parts are included with the shipment. We are also<br />
well known specialists for integrated and supporting safety cage<br />
constructions. All products are manufactured according to regulations<br />
of F.I.A and the German Motorsports Board (DMSB).<br />
The Product Certificate<br />
The product certificate issued by <strong>Wiechers</strong> enables you to enter roll<br />
cages and roll bars in your vehicle registration document. Depending<br />
on country and region the regulations for registration may vary<br />
thus we cannot guarantee that your product is eligible for registration.<br />
The product certificate for roll cages built of steel tubes specified<br />
St52 (1.0570) is sufficient to perform in national (German) motor<br />
sports events.<br />
The “DMSB-Certificate”<br />
All roll cages built of steel tubes specified 25 CrMo 4<br />
(1.7218) necessarily require a certificate issued by the DMSB<br />
to compete in motorsports. For Vehicles homologated till<br />
December 31st 2001 you may choose roll cages from our<br />
standard program (see pages 6 - 7). Vehicles homologated<br />
beyond this date require more extensive roll cage constructions.<br />
Therefore prices have to be determined according to<br />
specific complexity.<br />

das (leergeräumte) Fahrzeug bei uns angeliefert werden.<br />
Es ist auch möglich diesen Käfig als geschweißte Konstruktion<br />
anzufertigen (Voraussetzung: Anlieferung der Rohkarosserie).<br />
Zusätzliche Verstrebungen sind ebenfalls machbar. Sprechen<br />

install a cage meeting F.I.A /DMSB requirements. It is possible<br />
to install this type of roll cage as a welded reinforcement<br />
structure. In this case we need the blank car body.<br />
Welded structures may be equipped with additional struts<br />

Sortiment an Domstreben in besonders hochwertiger<br />
Ausführung an. So werden CNC-gefräste Gewindestücke<br />
und lasergeschnittene Befestigungsteile verbaut. Hierdurch<br />
ist eine millimetergenaue Justierung möglich. Die „Racingline-Strebe“<br />
ist in Aluminium hochglanzpoliert, oder Carbon<br />
coated lieferbar. Mit dieser Domstrebe erhalten Sie das absolute<br />
Top Level an technischer und optischer Leistung.<br />
Under the label “Racingline” we offer you an assorted<br />
range of high-quality front suspension braces. For example,<br />
we use CNC lathed thread pieces and laser-cut<br />
mounting parts. Due to this an extremely exact adjustment<br />
is possible. Racingline products are available in two<br />
finishes: aluminium high gloss polished or carbon coated.<br />
With this front suspension brace you get the top level of<br />
optical and technical performance.<br />
Domstrebe: Eine Domstrebe bringt für alle Fahrzeuge, die<br />
sportlich bewegt werden sollen, bedeutend mehr Stabilität<br />
im vorderen Stoßdämpferbereich und vermeidet Verzugserscheinungen<br />
in der Karosserie. Außerdem wird das Fahrzeug<br />
spurtreuer und direkter in der Lenkung.<br />
Front suspension brace: A front suspension brace provides<br />
a lot more stability to cars that are driven sporty style in<br />
the front shock absorber section and avoids warping of<br />
the car body. In addition to this the car´s steering gets more<br />
stable and direct.<br />
Fahrwerkstrebe (Querlenkerabstützung): Diese reduzieren<br />
Spur- und Sturzveränderungen der Vorderachse. Dadurch<br />
wird ebenfalls die Spurtreue verbessert. Besonders zu<br />
empfehlen bei Breitreifen und <strong>Sport</strong>fahrwerken.<br />
Chassis brace (traverse control arm support): Cassis braces<br />
reduce tread width and camber changes at the front axle.<br />
They enhance the steering stability. Recommendable especially<br />
in combination with wide tires or a sport chassis.<br />
Fahrwerkstreben hinten: Diese verbessern das Fahrverhalten<br />
in extremen Situationen, besonders in Kurven und<br />
bei Bremsmanövern. Befestigung zwischen den Domen.<br />
Rear chassis frame braces: They improve the performance<br />
of the vehicle in extreme situations, especially in turns or<br />
if applying the brakes. Braces are mounted between the<br />
wheel housing domes.<br />

Ladungssicherung ist ein zunehmend diskutiertes Thema! Ungesicherte<br />
oder unsachgemäß gesicherte Ladung birgt ein hohes Unfallrisiko! Sie<br />
gefährden dabei sich selbst und andere Verkehrsteilnehmer ganz erheblich!<br />

secured cargo poses a high accident risk! Not only for yourselves<br />
but also for other traffic participants in a high risk.<br />
1. Sichern Sie Ihre Ladung immer in alle Richtungen<br />
Gegenstände sind verschiedenen Kräften ausgesetzt. Beim Bremsen will<br />
die Ladung nach vorne verrutschen, beim Beschleunigen nach hinten und<br />
bei Kurven jeweils in die entgegengesetzte Richtung zum Kurvenverlauf.<br />

4.Verzurren Sie auch schwere Lasten<br />
Auch scheinbar sehr sicher stehende, schwere Ladung kann verrutschen,<br />
denn nicht das Gewicht oder die Größe einer Ladung entscheidet über<br />
die Standsicherheit, sondern die Kraft, die auf sie einwirkt.<br />
4. Secure even heavy loads<br />
Even obviously heavy and solid standing cargo can slip. Only the impact<br />
of the forces to load affects the stability.<br />
5.Verwenden Sie Zurrmittel sachgerecht<br />
Achten Sie stets darauf, dass Ihr Zurrmittel in Art und Ausführung für Ihre<br />
Anwendung geeignet ist. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Zurrmittel vollständig<br />
aufliegt, nicht verknotet oder verdreht ist und verlängern Sie es nicht.<br />
5. You have to use the lashing straps professionally<br />
Always be sure that your lashing straps in type and design are<br />
suitable for your application. Make sure that the lashing straps completely<br />
resting, not knotted or twisted and you do not lengthen the lashing straps.<br />
Unsere Gurte sind TÜV geprüft und entsprechen der<br />
DIN EN 12195-2. Die Zugkraft des jeweiligen Gurtes erkennen Sie<br />
anhand der Angabe auf dem blauen Etikett (Bsp. LC. 2.000 DaN),<br />
oder an den schwarzen Linien im Gurtband. Eine Linie steht für 500<br />
kg Zugkraft in geradem Zug!<br />

Sonderanfertigungen, insbesondere Überrollbügel und Käfige,<br />

empfehlen die Montage durch eine Fachwerkstatt. Für Schäden, welche<br />

nicht. Für Produkte, welche im Motorsport eingesetzt werden, übernehmen<br />
wir grundsätzlich keine Gewähr. Terminzusagen unsererseits bedürfen<br />

The shipping costs are to be paid by the customer. The customer has to<br />
report transport damage immediately after reception to <strong>Wiechers</strong> GmbH<br />
and the carrier by sending significant pictures of the damage. Hidden<br />
transport damage will not be incurred by the carrier. All products are to<br />
be inspected immediately after reception.<br />
Complaints<br />
Errors and technical changes excepted. Custom made products are nonreturnable.<br />
Warranty<br />
Deficient Products need to be reported immediately after reception.<br />
We recommend to install our products at an authorized service center.<br />
<strong>Wiechers</strong> GmbH is not liable for defects caused by inappropriate installation.<br />
<strong>Wiechers</strong> GmbH is categorically not liable for products used in<br />
motorsports. Production appointments need to be confirmed in written<br />
form by <strong>Wiechers</strong> GmbH.<br />
Pricing and conditions of payment<br />
Product orders need to be in written form. The valid price list is essential<br />
on the day of ordering. Prices include shipping, delivery ex works.<br />
Payment as per agreement. Payment options: advance payment, cash<br />
on delivery, on account, term of credit. Payment fees are to be paid<br />
by the customer. All products remain property of <strong>Wiechers</strong> GmbH until<br />
