Das Porsche Design Studio wurde 1972 von Prof. Ferdinand Alexander
Porsche, dem Sohn des Sportwagenbauers Ferry Porsche und Enkel
von Ferdinand Porsche, gegründet und residiert in Zell am See
(Österreich). Alle Entwürfe des Studios zeichnen sich durch eine klare,
funktionale Formensprache, sorgfältige Materialauswahl sowie hochwertigste
Verarbeitung aus.
Das Studio gilt als eines der bedeutendsten Designhäuser Europas,
dessen entworfene Produkte bei namhaften internationalen Wettbewerben
wie dem iF Hannover, dem red dot design award, dem
ADI Milano oder dem EISA Award immer wieder für ihre Designqualität
ausgezeichnet worden sind und bislang bereits mehr als 120
internationale Designpreise und Auszeichnungen gewonnen haben.
Nach sehr erfolgreichen Entwürfen wie z. B. den nebenstehend
auszugsweise erwähnten Produkten wurden mit den beiden
Kollektionen Wöstmann W100 – W200 nun erstmals zwei exklusive
Wohnmöbelserien kreiert. Designed by Porsche Design Studio –
manufactured by Wöstmann – made for you.
The Porsche Design Studio, located in Zell am See (Austria) has been
established in 1972 by Prof. Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, the son of
the sports car maker Ferry Porsche and grandson of Ferdinand
Porsche. Every design of the Porsche Design Studio is characterised by
a clear functional shape, a careful choice of materials as well as a firstclass
processing. The studio is considered to be one of the most
important design houses in Europe whose products have been
awarded again and again for their design quality at well-known
international design competitions as the iF Hannover, the red dot
design award, the ADI Milano or the EISA Award; up to now the
studio has already been awarded with more than 120 international
design awards.
After having designed very successful products as for example those
mentioned adjacent, there have now been created for the first time
two exclusive living and dining furniture series - the two collections
Wöstmann W100 – W200.

PERFEKTE LINIENFÜHRUNG UND OBERFLÄCHEN MIT TIEFGANG.
Die bislang wohl bekanntesten Designklassiker unserer Zeit sind die Entwürfe der Bauhausgruppe um Walter Gropius.
All diese Entwürfe an Möbeln und Gebrauchsgegenständen waren ihrer Zeit weit voraus und entsprechen in ihrem Design noch heute
weitgehend dem Zeitgeschmack.
Die puristische Linie Wöstmann W100 – Design by Porsche Design Studio greift diesen über der Zeit stehenden Gestaltungsgedanken
auf und spricht mit ihrem auf das Wesentliche reduzierten Look die Puristen unter den Möbelliebhabern an.
Lowboards, Highboards, Zeilenschränke und Vitrinen in perfekter Verarbeitung, Haptik und Optik überzeugen zudem durch ausgeklügelte
Detail-Innovationen: umlaufende, vollkommen grifflose Fronten und exakt auf Gehrung gefertigte Schubkästen und Winkeltüren faszinieren
durch makellos funktionierende push-to-open-Beschläge und eine klare, reduzierte Formensprache.
Seidenglänzend weiße Korpusmöbel mit einem brillanten, homogenen Lackfinish werden optimal ergänzt und stellen einen Kontrast zu den
stylishen ultramatt-schwarzen Ausführungsvarianten dar, die neben dem edlen Trend-Look mit einer außergewöhnlichen Haptik überraschen
und zum Benutzen einladen.
Als wesentliches charakteristisches Gestaltungselement lassen schlichte Edelstahlrahmen die Lowboards, Highboards, Zeilenschränke
und Vitrinen nahezu schweben; ein Effekt, der sich durch die optionale LED-Beleuchtung der Gestelle noch intensivieren lässt.
Auch bei den W100 Polsterelementen findet sich der ästhetische Vierkant-Edelstahlrahmen wieder und sorgt mit seiner schlanken
Formgebung für eine stilvolle schwebende Anmutung.
Elegante Freischwinger, wahlweise mit oder ohne Armlehne, und ein auf großzügigen Kufen ruhender Esstisch mit Intarsie in Edelstahloptik
nehmen die Akzentuierung mit Edelstahl erneut auf und bilden so eine gestalterische Einheit mit den Wohn- und Polstermöbeln.

The probably best known design classics up to now are surely the designs of the “Bauhaus-Gruppe” around Walter Gropius. All these designs

The puristic line Wöstmann W100 – Design by Porsche Design Studio takes up the idea of ageless design creations and appeals to the purists

Low boards, high boards, line boards and glass cabinets in perfect finish, surface feel and optics also convince by sophisticated detailed
innovations: floating fronts completely without handle bars and exactly mitre manufactured drawers and angle cabinet doors are fascinating
by perfectly functioning push-to-open fittings and a clear reduced shape.
Satin lacquered white corpus furniture pieces with a brilliant homogeneous lacquer finish are ideally completed by – and present a beautiful
contrast to – the stylish ultra matt black variants which surprise with the classy trend look and as well with an extraordinary surface feel inviting

As an important characteristic design element the plain high quality stainless steel base frames let the low boards, high boards, line boards
