CAPACITIVE LEVEL SENDER FOR WASTE AND FRESH<br />
WATER 3-180 E 240-33 OHM<br />
This level sender is an innovative capacitive sensor, international patent<br />
protection worldwide recognised (EU Pat.N. 1657533).<br />
It is suitable to measure the level of the fuel, contained in a tank. Available in<br />
different sizes and models compatible with the following instruments:<br />
• 3-180 Ohm (resistive VDO type), no-load voltage from the coil of the gauge :<br />
5÷18Vdc<br />
• 240-33 Ohm (resistive Standard type), no-load voltage from the coil of the<br />
gauge : 5÷18Vdc.<br />
It is equipped with an active alarm output when the reserve and/or incoming<br />
filling of the tank is being rea<strong>ch</strong>ed.<br />
The resistive sensors are equipped with a wire useful in case of <strong>ch</strong>oice of<br />
operating with STD american system instruments 240-33 ohm (intact wire) or<br />
with VDO European system type 3-180 ohm (cut wire).<br />
These sensors are equipped with two active alarm outputs (A1 and A2), the<br />
first for indicating when the liquid level is lower than 20% (empty alarm) and<br />
the second one if the level exceeds the 80% of the tank capacity (full alarm).<br />
