His musical score, originally published in Rolling Stone Magazine (6th October 1977) is a44" x 64" coloured map of New York City upon which he superimposedmulti-coloured triangles whose extremities indicate the variouslocations. Our installation is a two-hour video realisation of his work. Wewent to each of Cage's specified locations, set up a camera andrecorded the surroundings with an automatic panning device. Thelength of each shot was determined by Cagian chance operations, supervised by Andrew Culver. The sequence of waltzes on the finishedtape was also chance-determined.Our video is keyed to a reconstruction of Cage's original visual score, now apparently lost. This video/music installation is intended as atribute to John Cage and the city which was his home for forty years. /120'C F Peters Corporation [Score/Partitur EP 66735d]Hologram of John Cage performing his composition4'33''This motorised rotating 360-degree hologram features the threedimensionalcolour image of Cage at the piano closing the lid (to beginthe performance) and later opening the lid (to end the performance). The hologram with floor display is available on rental for exhibit duringconcert series, music festivals, etc..
