The purpose oftraining was to capture the voice of Customerand develop a robust product.The training covered the need of QFDworkshop / process, Rationale forDevelopment, Challenge for New ProductDevelopment (NPD), Meaning of Quality forvarious stages of NPD, Market research forDevelopment.The work shop also covered exercises onhow to capture in verbatim comments ofcustomer, Interviewing - Questions to UnearthFacts, Question-Asking Skills, Develop anImage of the Customers’ Context, How toconvert verbatim voice of customers intoproduct / process specifications.Inter-company Teams (4 Teams) wereformed involving participants from variousproduct category and various functions.The purpose of training was to capture the voice of Customer and develop a robust product.Themes were allocated to teams for marketStrong requirements were listed andresearch / survey and capturing the voice of affinity diagram was made to bring outcustomer.relationship between customer requirementsThe Dos and Don'ts were also shared with and technical specifications.As part of Postthe Teams along with Seven Key Points for workshop activity, all participants were advisedExploratory Customer Visits.to take a project in respective unitsAnother Feather In The CapMr Ashim Vohra, Group ChiefBusiness Excellence Officer hascompleted 25 glorious years in ourGroup on 20th September, 2013. He has literallygrew with the Group and was one of the torchbearers in its Global success story. He joined thethen erstwhile, Minda Group on 20th Sept, 1988.Mr Vohra worked in Engineering, Quality,Manufacturing, Purchase Department of ourvarious Business Group Companies.He literally rose through the ranks and bravemany fronts. Today, he simultaneously holds theposition of Head- Die-Casting Business of MCLalong with being the Head of GBE Department.On eve of his 25th year, he hosted a Dinner inGermany during his days of stay at Europe forturn-around activities. Our GBE Head donned theChef's cap and doled out lavish spread for all hisguests. The guests who greeted him included ourGCEO, Mr Ashok Minda along with Mrs SarikaMinda, Ms Megha, Mr D.C Sharma, Mr SandeepBatra with his family, Mr Atul Jain, Mr AshishGupta, Mr Sunil Goel, besides others.It was under the guidance of Mr Vohra thatthe Group Business Department took shape andnew initiatives were introduced.
