Evaporation – makes sense, safes money!
Zero liquid discharge – ZLD
The goal here is to prevent any treated wastewater being
introduced into the sewers while at the same time retrieving
distillate to re-use in production. The protection of our
planet’s natural resources is becoming more and more
important. In this respect, the reutilisation of water plays
an important role. Using EVALED evaporators, ZLD (Zero
Liquid Discharge) is not just a vision but can be implemented
in many industrial areas. So you can also make your contribution
to sustainability.
Reduction in disposal costs
The disposal of wastewater by specialist disposal companies
is, in many cases, very cost-intensive and places a
great burden on our environment and on traffic. Every day
hundreds of thousands of cubic metres of slightly soiled
wastewater are transported using our traffic routes. That’s
not necessary. Modern businesses are instructed by the
legislature to treat wastewater during operations or to make
it into water that can be discharged. Using an EVALED
evaporator, plant disposal costs can be noticeably reduced
and water can be recycled. In many cases an investment
can pay for itself within a few months or in periods of less
than 3 years.
Product recycling
Using EVALED evaporation plants, processing solutions
and products can be regenerated by the extraction of
water or else reprocessed into a product, which then
regains a value. The concentration and the related gain of
substances and recyclable materials turns waste into a
product.
Alternative to other wastewater treatment processes
EVALED evaporator plants are a good option compared to
conventional wastewater treatment processes. Particularly
for small and medium-sized quantities of wastewater, the
plants offer a good alternative as they require little space,
work automatically, and require little or significantly less
treatment chemicals.
Often, EVALED evaporator plants are used for especially
complex wastewater streams as well as for applications
which are no longer suitable for other processes.
