Materielle
Beweise sind allerdings rar, da organische
Werkstoffe. Sticking is one of the oldest and most important
cultural techniques of mankind. With some
certainty it can be assumed that our ancestors used
sticky aids all over the world. They enabled the manufacture
of weapons and tools, and helped the Friars
to defend themselves against a hostile environment.
Material evidence, however, is rare because
organic materials .
fortschrittlicheren Jungsteinzeitmenschen fiel schon
die Klebkraft von Asphalt (Erdpech), Baumharzen
und Holzteer auf. So wurde in Sachsen-Anhalt Birkenpech
als Klebemittel von Klingeneinsätzen bei
Schäftungen gefunden, das mindestens 115.000
Jahre alt war. Dieser frühe Klebstoff kommt nicht natürlich
vor, sondern muss gezielt hergestellt werden.
The oldest adhesive and sealant used by humans
was probably clay-containing soil, e.g. Caves and
huts of ancient times. The more advanced Neolithic
people already noticed the adhesive force of asphalt
(earth pitch), tree resins and wood tar. Birkenpech,
for example, was found in Saxony-Anhalt as an adhesive
agent for the use of blade inserts, which was at
least 115,000 years old. This early adhesive does not
occur naturally, but must be produced in a targeted
manner.
