Eisen looks back on 100 years of family tradition in sharpener production. Based on
this prodigious heritage, Mr. Stephan Eisen has set up a clear agenda to ensure that his
company is ready for the challenges ahead.
Today, Eisen has fully integrated their manufacturing location in Taicang, PRC. The
successful implementation of Geman quality standards at this site is documented by
a large number of successful customer audits, same as by ‘standard’ certifications ISO
9001, BSCI and SMETA (SEDEX).
Eisen has taken decisive steps to upgrade their sharpener portfolio. New models
incorporating the latest patented innovations are being introduced on a regular basis,
completing an extensive range of classic sharpeners.
Eisen supports this drive by investing into up-to-date manufacturing technology, introducing
innovative decoration techniques and sophisticated pack-out options. Setting
up an effective supply chain linking both manufacturing locations, Eisen makes sure to
supply customers worldwide as they expect it – on time and in full.
As Eisen continues to grow in both locations, Mr. Stephan Eisen has charted a clear path
for future developments.
Eisen will continue to invest into new technologies at both their German and the Taicang
sites. Fully automated production lines will be a decisive step towards bringing manufacturing
of stationery sharpeners close to where our customers are based.
Moving forward Eisen aims to become a full service partner for its customers. Developing
their existing sourcing, quality control and logistics organization Eisen will move
towards manufacturing and packaging complex assortments, adding value for our
customers.
In a competitive surrounding, Eisen will place a focus on development collaborations.
With the necessary design and tool manufacturing resources in place, Eisen will develop
customer ideas from the first sketch or idea to a fully industrialized product.
As full service and ever-more complex products will move to the foreground, Eisen will
make sure to upgrade their service accordingly. Speaking our customer’s language, understanding
the constraints of their markets and working in close alignment with their
