Dear Customers, 

my first and foremost effort is keeping the Eisen brand a shining example for stability, 

quality and innovation in the stationery industry. 

Strong partnerships based on respect for our direct and end-customers are the underlying 

foundation. I continuously invent new solutions to make the sharpening process 

less trouble-some, more easy and in regard to our youngest sharpener users, even 

more safe. Over the last few years, several of these inventions have lead to successful 

patent-applications and granted patents. Up to date innovations and designs are 

keeping the passion alive - for a product that my family and our loyal and skilled 

employees produce for roughly 100 years by now. 

My office team meanwhile is always busy to help you make the process of clarifying 

order details fast, easy and on the spot. (Read more about this on the next page.) 

Manufacturing is the key part happening in the background but always watched by me 

in detail. I stand one hundred percent for using the state of the art technical solutions 

that are available today as well as modern process oriented programs such as ISO 9001 

to assure our quality and customer satisfaction. 

Since we have many long lasting business relationships I want to take this chance to 

extend a special “Thank you“ to these loyal customers and I would like to ask for their 

trust and cooperation for the following years to come. Finally I want to end this personal 

statement with a heartfelt “thanks“ towards my father for handing his company over 

to me, to take care of for the next decades, till I can hopefully get the chance to pass it 

on to the 5 th generation.

WHO WE aRE 

Eisen looks back on 100 years of family tradition in sharpener production. Based on 

this prodigious heritage, Mr. Stephan Eisen has set up a clear agenda to ensure that his 

company is ready for the challenges ahead. 

Today, Eisen has fully integrated their manufacturing location in Taicang, PRC. The 

successful implementation of Geman quality standards at this site is documented by 

a large number of successful customer audits, same as by ‘standard’ certifications ISO 

9001, BSCI and SMETA (SEDEX). 

Eisen has taken decisive steps to upgrade their sharpener portfolio. New models 

incorporating the latest patented innovations are being introduced on a regular basis, 

completing an extensive range of classic sharpeners. 

Eisen supports this drive by investing into up-to-date manufacturing technology, introducing 

innovative decoration techniques and sophisticated pack-out options. Setting 

up an effective supply chain linking both manufacturing locations, Eisen makes sure to 

supply customers worldwide as they expect it – on time and in full. 

As Eisen continues to grow in both locations, Mr. Stephan Eisen has charted a clear path 

for future developments. 

Eisen will continue to invest into new technologies at both their German and the Taicang 

sites. Fully automated production lines will be a decisive step towards bringing manufacturing 

of stationery sharpeners close to where our customers are based. 

Moving forward Eisen aims to become a full service partner for its customers. Developing 

their existing sourcing, quality control and logistics organization Eisen will move 

towards manufacturing and packaging complex assortments, adding value for our 

customers. 

In a competitive surrounding, Eisen will place a focus on development collaborations. 

With the necessary design and tool manufacturing resources in place, Eisen will develop 

customer ideas from the first sketch or idea to a fully industrialized product. 

As full service and ever-more complex products will move to the foreground, Eisen will 

make sure to upgrade their service accordingly. Speaking our customer’s language, understanding 

the constraints of their markets and working in close alignment with their 

systems will generate added value and reduce costs. Competence and reactivity are key 

to making Eisen a knowledgeable partner for our customers worldwide.

Classic cardboard sliding boxes and folding boxes with display lid offer a maximum of decoration area 

and are easily integrated into your brand portfolio. 

Use fully transparent boxes with inserted preform trays to display the attractive EISEN quality sharpeners 

at the POS. Single pack-outs such as cellobags, polybags, sleeves and single boxes are readily 

available. Incorporate an originality seal to create added value for your customers. 

BLISTERCARD 

For obvious reasons, blistercards are the most common 

pack-outs for single and small quantities of sharpeners –
