Der Glaselefant im Hammer Maximilianpark ist nicht nur das weltweit größte Gebäude in<br />
Tiergestalt, son<strong>der</strong>n zugleich Wahrzeichen und Identifikationspunkt <strong>der</strong> Stadt Hamm. Daraus<br />
hat sich im Laufe <strong>der</strong> Zeit ein wie<strong>der</strong>kehrendes Motiv von verschiedenen Elefantenfiguren<br />
entwickelt und wird immer wie<strong>der</strong> zum Sympathieträger in dieser Stadt. Selbstverständlich<br />
waren somit die Figuren, die zum 20-jährigen Jubiläum des Hammer Glaselefanten<br />
im Jahr 2004 künstlerisch gestaltet werden sollten, Elefanten. Die ”Elefantenparade” war<br />
geboren.<br />

is not only the biggest building in<br />
animalshape in the world, but also major<br />
attraction of Hamm (Germany).<br />
Consequently elephants nowadays can be<br />
found all over the place and new models<br />
were created for the 20th anniversary of<br />
the glass-elephant building. The parade<br />
of elephants was born.<br />
