Quickstart Welcome to HiDrive

Please enter the login details of your HiDrive account and click on “OK”.
Your HiDrive account is connected to your computer after a few moments. Your online storage space opens in a new window
automatically. Click on “users” and choose a user to access the data of your newly set-up HiDrive account.
Slow access to directories through WebDAV use
Example:
Choose an available drive letter.
Here: „S“(Arrow 3)
Enter the path of the HiDrive account you
would like to set up. (Arrow 4)
Path using SMB: [paid accounts only]
\\username.smb.hidrive.strato.com\root
Path with WebDav:
https://username.webdav.hidrive.strato.com/
(Using this method, you must use the
secure path.)
Click on “Finish”
In case the access to your HiDrive folder is noticeably slow, this can be due to default network settings in
Windows. Bring up the Windows Control Panel. Click on Internet options, then Connections and LAN-settings.
Disable the option to Automatically detect settings.
