The European School of Earth Building<br />
The European School of Earth Building / FAL e.V. has been<br />
originated by the exchange of European educational and earth<br />
building specialists.<br />
In 2005 we published the first European educational instructions<br />
for the Earthbuilding sector. These comprehensive materials<br />
are the start for the recognised qualification „Designer for<br />
clayplastering (HWK)“. The training materials are now published<br />
in thirteen languages: Bulgarian, German, Czech, English,<br />
Estonian, Finnish, French, Greek, Italian, Polish, Slovak, Slovene,<br />
Swedish.*<br />
Educational <strong>programm</strong>e, content and methodology meet the<br />
demand of ecological building practitioners. In co-operation<br />
with our European partners, we are continuously developing<br />
innovative teaching methodologies and units of learning<br />
outcomes for the Earthbuilding sector. The results of our latest<br />
European cooperation is published at http://ecvetearth.hypotheses.org.<br />
We provide vocational training courses in: earth building, clay<br />
plastering, rammed earth, clay oven, earth colours, tadelakt,<br />
strawbale building, building with natural lime and interior<br />
insulation.<br />
We additionally offer tailored courses for trainers and education<br />
providers from all over Europe and advise on European<br />
funding possibilities to participate.<br />
This year‘s highlight is the opening of the newly reconstructed<br />
workshop in Wangelin. The European Earth buidling day 2019<br />
focuses on Empowerment for ecological building change. On<br />
July 20th earth building trainers, learners, practitioners from<br />
all over Europe will meet in Wangelin to learn and celebrate<br />
together.<br />

The European School for Earth Building is an initiative of FAL<br />
e.V.. Together with the Clay Museum Gnevsdorf and Brickyard<br />
Museum Benzin it is embedded in the natural and cultural<br />
landscape of the Clay and Brick route at Mecklenburgische<br />
Seenplatte.<br />
