For nearly 25 years, Hope Technology<br />
has been pushing the industry<br />
forward through designing, testing<br />
and manufacturing virtually all<br />
products in-house at the factory in<br />
Barnoldswick, United Kingdom.<br />
The disc brake was the first product<br />
that we manufactured and brought<br />
to the mountain bike market back<br />
in 1989. The calipers were cable<br />
operated and used rear, screw-on<br />
hubs on the front of the bike, with<br />
the rotor screwed onto them.<br />
Our current best selling brake, the<br />
Tech 3 E4 has come a long way<br />
since the cable operated version.<br />
Whilst we’re constantly investing<br />
time in testing and developing new<br />
designs to improve our brakes,<br />
we’re pretty confident that the Tech<br />
3 E4 is one of the most solid and<br />
reliable brakes on the market.<br />
We have kept the key features of<br />
the Tech Evo master cylinder and<br />
worked to improve the ergonomics<br />
and integration on the handlebars.<br />
The Tech 3 master cylinder can operate<br />
all the calipers from our range<br />
and offers a slight increase of power<br />
of about 5% over the Tech Evo.
