Avatar Kids is a project to support the social<br />
competences of children with long-term<br />
hospital stay and is invented and developed<br />
by Kindercity. The avatar robot Nao takes the<br />
child‘s place in school. With a tablet computer<br />
the child is able to use a large field of<br />
interactions. The robot talks with the voice of<br />
the child, reads texts out, hears, sees around,<br />
expresses emotions and moves in the way the<br />
child is steering. The teacher can hand out a<br />
camera picture to the child and additionally<br />
profit from a large field of entertaining and<br />
educational applications of the robot.<br />
Avatar Kids ist ein Projekt, erfunden und entwickelt<br />
von Kindercity, um die Sozialkompetenz<br />
von Kindern mit einem Langzeitspitalaufenthalt<br />
zu fördern. Der Avatar-Roboter<br />
Nao nimmt den Platz <strong>des</strong> Kin<strong>des</strong> in der Schule<br />
ein. Mit einem Tablet-Computer kann das Kind<br />
auf verschiedene Arten mit der Klasse interagieren.<br />
Der Roboter spricht mit der Stimme<br />
<strong>des</strong> Kin<strong>des</strong>, liest Text vor, hört, sieht umher,<br />
drückt Emotionen aus und bewegt sich in der<br />
Form, wie er vom Kind gesteuert wird. Der<br />
Lehrer kann dem Kind Blätter austeilen und<br />
profitiert zusätzlich von einer Vielzahl von Unterhaltungs-<br />
und Unterrichtsprogrammen auf<br />
dem Roboter.<br />
