TO CELEBRATE THE 30 YEARS OF LIVING
IN BRUSSELS WE SURROUNDED OUR CITY
OF ADOPTION ON SIX DAYS DURING THIS
MEMORABLE MONTH OF APRIL 2020. THE
CORONA PANDEMIC IS REDUCING ALL
SOCIAL LIVE TO A MINIMUM, NORMAL
EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES SUCH AS SHOPPING,
WALKING OR SIMPLY SITTING IN A PUBLIC
PARK ARE BECOMING OBSCURE, ARE SIMPLY
FORBIDDEN OR RESTRICTED. THE WHOLE
WORLD IS AFFECTED AND NOBODY KNOWS
YET WHEN THE CRISIS WILL END. THIS APRIL
WAS UNUSUALLY DRY AND SUNNY HERE
IN BRABANT AND ALSO VERY QUIET. THERE
ARE ALMOST NO PLANES ANY MORE FLYING
FROM AND TO BELGIUM AND CAR TRAFFIC
HAS REDUCED DRASTICALLY IN THE CITY.
THIS BOOKLET SHOULD BRING SOME JOY
AND INSPIRATION TO YOU AND WE WISH
YOU ALL GOOD LUCK FOR THE DAYS, WEEKS
AND MONTHS TO COME. HOPEFULLY, THE
PARTY WE HAVE PLANNED FOR THE FIRST
OF MAY 2020 WILL TAKE PLACE LATER AND
