Es gab auch zwei Einträge mit Spenden an Die Zeit, im März 2020 etwa 150.000,- Dollar, eine andere früher. Doch beide Einträge sind nicht mehr in der Spenden-Liste vorhanden, auch
finde ich meine mehrfachen Screenshots und postings dazu auf meiner Facebook-Seite nicht mehr wieder, wenn ich sie durchsuche. Auch im Internet ist nichts mehr davon zu finden. Es
scheint, als sei alles gelöscht worden über die "öffentliche Schande" und die Zeit habe sich davon distanziert - hat der Verlag das Geld zurückgezahlt? -
Der Spiegel nahm die Spende von etwa 2,3 Millionen Dollar schon 2018 an, veröffentlichte dies aber erst im April 2020 nach öffentlichem Druck, und zwar im Spiegel vom 16. April 2020,
Rubrik "Wirtschaft", als Fußnote unter dem Artikel "Corona-Pandemie Gates-Stiftung spendet weitere 150 Millionen Dollar" (... an die WHO). Der Wortlaut: "Offenlegung: Die Bill &
Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) unterstützt das SPIEGEL-Projekt Globale Gesellschaft über drei Jahre mit einer Gesamtsumme von rund 2,3 Mio. Euro. Unter dem Titel Globale
Gesellschaft berichten Reporterinnen und Reporter aus Asien, Afrika, Lateinamerika und Europa (zum FAQ)."
