GREEN MINT TEA
growing up with the scent of earthy green tea and the
freshness of mint, making the perfect taste together,
being a smell that lingers around the house for hours,
being the staple of every family or friends gathering.
Especially the one my dad makes, somehow
uniquely tastes like home to me, like
special occasions, like ordinary days.
sipping on it, savoring the taste and the
way the foam stays on it whenever
my mom pours it. its kinda sweet,
kinda bitter, a unique taste from
the golden liqiud, unique memories
for me entangled with
the smell
