SILK ALSO KNOWN AS THE QUEEN OF
TEXTILES, HAS BEEN CONSIDERED ONE OF THE
MOST LUXURIOUS FABRICS IN THE WORLD FOR
OVER MORE THAN A THOUSAND YEARS
It is a natural protein fiber produced by
the larvae of a moth called the “Bombyx
Mori” and obtained by spinning and
weaving the fibers from the cocoons
of the silk warms. Unlike synthetic fibers
and other man-made fibers in the
industry, silk comes from a natural fiber
that is 100% bio-degradable, thus
making it a renewable resource and a
green choice. In addition, silk also has
a very low environmental impact and is
considered carbon neutral.
Thanks to its amazing properties, silk
