Grundlagenprogramm –<br />
für Nicht-Theologen<br />
Sie sind Akademiker und wollen sich theologisch<br />
fortbilden?<br />
Das theologische Grundlagenprogramm vermittelt<br />
einen allgemeinen Überblick über die Hauptbereiche<br />
der Theologie und vertieft diesen an einigen Stellen<br />
beispielhaft. Es handelt sich um eine Art theologischen<br />
Crashkurs mit Tiefenbohrungen.<br />
Das Konzept<br />
Das theologische Grundlagenprogramm ist ein betreutes<br />
Leseprogramm, das durch drei Workshops von<br />
je zwei bis drei Tagen unterstützt wird.<br />
Dabei wird vorausgesetzt, dass die Studierenden sich<br />
eigenständig schwere Texte erarbeiten und akademische<br />
Arbeiten verfassen können. Das Programm<br />
umfasst 20 Credits und besteht aus vier Kursen – Altes<br />
Testament, NeuesTestament, SystematischeTheologie<br />
und Praktische Theologie.<br />
Termine und Kosten<br />
Die Kurse finden in einem jährlichen Rhythmus statt.<br />

Die Studiengebühren betragen 75€ pro Credit, also<br />
insgesamt 1.500€. Um das gemeinsame Studieren von<br />
Ehepaaren zu fördern, zahlt der Ehepartner nur 50%.<br />
Möglichkeiten zum Weiterstudium<br />
Unisa folgt dem angelsächsischen System, welches<br />
offen ist für Quereinsteiger von anderen akademischen<br />
Disziplinen, sofern sie theologische Zusatzqualifikationen<br />
haben.<br />
Die <strong>GBFE</strong>-Institute bieten verschiedene Spezialisie-<br />
rungen als akademische Aufbauprogramme an. Bei<br />
gutem Erfolg können Sie sich für das Masterstudium<br />
an der Unisa bewerben.<br />

Theological<br />
Foundations Programme –<br />
for Non-Theologians<br />
Are you a university graduate and interested in further<br />
theological studies?<br />
The theological foundations programme provides a general<br />
overview of the main areas of theology and goes into<br />
greater depth in certain aspects by way of example. It<br />
resembles a theological crash course, but with some in<br />
depth explorations.<br />
The Concept<br />
Thetheologicalfoundationsprogrammeisaguidedreading<br />
programme supported by three workshops, each of<br />
2–3 days duration. Students are expected to independently<br />
explore difficult texts and compose academic papers.<br />
The programme provides 20 credits and comprises four<br />
courses – Old Testament, New Testament, Systematic<br />
Theology, and Practical Theology.<br />
Dates and Costs<br />
The courses take place in a yearly cycle. You can view the<br />
current course dates on the <strong>GBFE</strong> website. The costs constitute<br />
€75 per credit, totalling €1,500 for all 20 credits.<br />
In order to support married couples who wish to study<br />
together, a discount of 50% of the fees is offered to one<br />
partner.<br />
Opportunities for Further Study<br />
Unisa follows the Anglo-Saxon system, which is open to<br />
studentsofotheracademicdisciplines,providedtheyhave<br />
additional theological qualifications.<br />
The <strong>GBFE</strong> colleges offer a range of bridging programmes<br />
on an Honours-Equivalent level. Upon successful comple-<br />
tion students can apply for enrolment at Unisa for a Mas-<br />
ter’s Degree course.<br />

Zertifikat Theologie –<br />
Theologie für Verantwortungsträger<br />
Bei dem Programm „Zertifikat Theologie“ handelt es<br />
sich um eine theologische Fortbildung für Akademiker,<br />
die als ehrenamtliche oder vollzeitliche Verantwortungsträger<br />
in Gemeinden und christlichen Werken<br />
tätig sind und keinen weiteren akademischen Abschluss<br />
anstreben.<br />
Studienprogramm<br />
Das Studienprogramm setzt sich zusammen aus Pflicht-,<br />
Wahlpflicht- und Wahlfächern an den verschiedenen<br />
<strong>GBFE</strong>-Instituten. Für ein Zertifikat sind 60 Credits erforderlich.<br />
Zertifikat<br />
Das erfolgreich abgeschlossene Fortbildungsprogramm<br />
wird mit einem <strong>GBFE</strong> Zertifikat bestätigt. Besteht<br />
der Wunsch nach einem Weiterstudium, kann<br />
man relevante Kurse aus diesem Programm anrechnen<br />
lassen und so in die Aufbauprogramme der einzelnen<br />
<strong>GBFE</strong>-Institute einsteigen, die zu einem Masterstudiengang<br />
an der Unisa führen.<br />
Anmeldung<br />
Die Anmeldung für das Gesamtprogramm geschieht<br />
beim <strong>GBFE</strong> Büro. Sie besprechen dann mit dem Dekan<br />
der <strong>GBFE</strong> (volker.kessler@gbfe.org) Ihre persönliche Studienplanung.<br />
Für die einzelnen Kurse melden Sie sich<br />
bei dem Institut an, an dem Sie den Kurs belegen wollen.<br />

Certificate of Theology –<br />
Theology for Christian<br />
Leaders<br />
The ‘Certificate of Theology’ programme offers complementarytheologicaltrainingforuniversitygraduateswho<br />
do not wish to attain a further academic degree, but who<br />
are in voluntary or full-time positions of responsibility<br />
within churches and Christian organizations.<br />
Study Programme<br />
This programme comprises compulsory, elective and optional<br />
subjects, which are studied at the various <strong>GBFE</strong><br />
colleges. A minimum of 60 credits is required to be awarded<br />
the certificate.<br />
Certificate<br />
The successful student will be awarded a <strong>GBFE</strong> certificate.<br />
If a student wishes to attain further qualifications she/he<br />
may transfer credits of relevant courses from this programme<br />
when entering one of the postgraduate programmes<br />
offered by a <strong>GBFE</strong> college. These then provide<br />
the prerequisite for applying for a Master’s Degree at<br />
Unisa.<br />
