werden, ist das KinderKunstLabor.

Labor. This will create an art and cultural
institution in St. Pölten that’s unique in
Europe, an innovative meeting place for
children up to the age of 12, contemporary
art and artists with a focus on contemporary

The city lies directly on the 111-kilometre-
long Traisental cycle route, one of the

Pölten attracts and entices with a 67-kilometre
network of cycle paths. But it’s also
easily possible to explore the surrounding
area on foot along the Kremser Berg
panorama trail, for example, which leads
through an old wine cellar alley.
Fittest City – for sports enthusiasts
St. Pölten has set itself the ambitious goal
of becoming the Fittest City of Austria .
In addition to promoting sports, this also
includes expanding the range of leisure
and sports facilities in urban areas and in
the regional environment: In the Spartan
Race, the Spartans shake the former military
training area in Völtendorf – and no
stone is left unturned. The Austrian Bowl
has also been back in St. Pölten since
2018. The football spectacle inspires over

Projekt für das so genannte „Leiner-
Areal“ am Rathausplatz. Hier entsteht in
den nächsten Jahren ein Hotel mit etwa
150 Zimmern, einem Konferenzzentrum
und einer Tiefgarage. Mitten in der Stadt.

yourself making eye contact with two
charming market women. Their hearts
are made of stone and they are deep in
conversation, although they do not speak
a word of German or English or any other

talking here about the “Tratschenden

Das älteste Diözesanmuseum Österreichs befindet sich in
Räumlichkeiten des ehemaligen Augustiner Chorherrenstiftes
St. Pölten und integriert auch dessen Klosterbibliothek mit

Austria’s oldest diocesan museum is located in St. Pölten’s former
monastery of the Canons Regular of Saint Augustine and
is also home to the monastery's library that boasts frescoes

Around 40 natural monuments are to be found within the city
limits, starting with the “Traisen” river. It flows from south to
north for 20 kilometres through the city. The five parks that can
be visited with modern horse-drawn carriages, are particularly
beautiful: Hammerpark, Sparkasse-Park, Südpark (refreshment
drinks), Bischofsgarten, Sonnenpark. Sights pointed out
by the coachman.

Augustinian canons’ monastery in St. Pölten and shows ecclesiastical
art in all its facets. The collection includes altars,
paintings and goldsmith’s art as well as a large stock of historical
liturgical vestments as well as the monastery library with
frescoes by Paul Troger and Daniel Gran. And Café Pusch’s
culinary highlight – the “Prandtauerjause” – to end with. Coffee

To place a fixed booking, please pay a deposit amounting to 20% of the
anticipated total amount. The balance is payable following the trip,
according to the number of participants, which you need to confirm
three days before arrival at the latest. You will receive your voucher
seven days before your arrival at the latest.

Up to 6 weeks (42 days) before date of arrival: free of charge

The prices apply to between one and a certain number of people and
