When travellers think of South Africa, one of the first
images that comes to mind is the mighty towering cliff
of Table Mountain, overlooking the city of Cape Town.
With a history of its own, Cape Town is an absolute must
on any itinerary to South Africa. Discover the Victoria
& Alfred Waterfront, home to world-class shopping,
bustling restaurants, and bars, all situated around the
working harbour. Take a cable car to the top of Table
Mountain, discover Cape Town’s dark past at the District
Six Museum & on Robben Island, visit the penguin colony
at Simonstown or travel out to Cape Point at the tip of

Day 1 | Johannesburg - Kruger National Park
Transfer from hotel (unescorted, driver only) to the
Mpumalanga region. After freshening up at your lodge,
enter the world-famous Kruger National Park and enjoy
an afternoon open vehicle game drive. This superb
sanctuary is a wildlife oasis, and home to the Big 5 (lion,
leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant) as well as cheetah,
wild dog and some 200 other animal species indigenous
to the area. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 | Kruger National Park
The day begins with early morning coffee or tea, followed
by a thrilling open vehicle safari (English-speaking game
ranger) through the Kruger National Park. Your guide will
endeavour to spoil you with sightings of the Big 5, general
game and prolific birdlife. Stop at one of the rest camps
for lunch (for own account). Spend the remainder of the
afternoon game viewing. Return to the lodge for dinner
and overnight.
Day 3 | Kruger National Park - Johannesburg
Enjoy breakfast before starting the return journey to
Johannesburg. Arrive in Johannesburg in the early evening
where the tour ends on arrival.

Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls is also known as the “Adventure
Capital” of Africa, and there are so many
adrenalin-junkie activities to enjoy as well as
more sedate options for the less adventurous.
Our favourites include:

• White Water Rafting on the Zambezi River

• Helicopter Trips over the Falls
• Sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River, sipping a

well as elephant and other game on the riverbanks.
The Victoria Falls can be visited all year-round
though the water levels do vary with the
seasons. From February to May the amount
of water roaring into the Falls is phenomenal.
From June onwards the water levels recede, and
you can get some spectacular photos. When
the Zambezi is particularly low, the Falls can
be reduced to little more than a trickle on the
Zambian side, so we recommend a trip to the
Zimbabwean side too.

asleep to the symphony of the African night, or sit in
stillness and observe the fascinating interplay of the
animals as they arrive to drink, bathe, spar, and forage
around the water hole.
Day 3 | Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast we depart north via Nanyuki for the
Samburu Game Reserve set in the rugged, semi-arid
northern region of Kenya, with spectacular scenic
landscape. Arrive in time for lunch, have a short siesta, and
then head for an afternoon game viewing drive.
Day 4 | Samburu Game Reserve
Enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing in both Samburu
and Buffalo Springs game reserves. Leopards are often
seen at dusk. The Samburu culture is a truly fascinating one,
sharing a great deal of ancestral and linguistic ties to the
Maasai. The entire Samburu region is a place of breathtaking
and magical beauty, with deep red sunsets.
Day 5 | Oi Pajeta Conservancy
After breakfast depart south on a scenic drive towards
Mt. Kenya, short game viewing enroute, arriving at your
Sweetwaters Tented Camp in time for lunch. Later in the
afternoon, proceed on an afternoon game viewing drive
within the reserve famous for plenty of plains game, the big
five, and the endangered Chimpanzee and Rhino Sanctuaries.
Day 6 | Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast we depart for Lake Nakuru National Park
with a brief stop at the Thompson’s Falls for a breath-taking
view of the great scenery. We arrive for lunch and in the
afternoon, we enjoy a game viewing drive. The environment
here is welcoming, one of the best places to relax, to unwind,
to enjoy nature’s beauty.
Day 7 | Masai Mara Game Reserve
A hearty early morning breakfast then drive to the Masai
Mara National Reserve, offering wonderful scenery and
plenty of game. We arrive at the intimate, 20-tent Tipilikwani
Camp to a very warm welcome for lunch, some leisure. In the
afternoon we depart on an exciting game viewing drive.
Day 8 | Masai Mara Game Reserve
Sumptuous breakfasts then we depart for a full day
adventure. Be on the look-out for the big five that Maasai
Mara is famous for. These include the lion, savannah (African)
elephant, the Cape buffalo, the leopard, and the black rhino.
Day 9 | Masai Mara Game Reserve to Nairobi
We enjoy our breakfast then check-out. We bid farewell to our
wonderful lodge manager and his team then depart to Nairobi.

Day 1 | Arrival Arusha
JAMBO – KARIBU!! It is ‘touch down’ at the Kilimanjaro

Day 2 | Lake Manyara
AMKA! – Wake Up! Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel
and check out. Depart on a pleasant drive to Lake Manyara
National Park, which apart from its abundant bird life, is
known for its tree-climbing lions and large herds of elephants.
Arrive at your lodge to check in and enjoy a sumptuous lunch.
This afternoon enjoy a game experience or visit a local village.
Day 3 | Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast then depart for Tanzania’s famed,
Serengeti National Park via Oldupai Gorge where hominid
footprints believed to be 3.6million years old were found. We
will enjoy an on-site talk on the interpretation of the gorge by
the resident guide. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive.
Day 4 | Full Day Serengeti National Park
A day in the Serengeti with early morning and late afternoon
game drives in search of any game that may still have eluded
you. You may even opt to have an uninterrupted full day of
game viewing drives in the Serengeti. Be on the lookout for
the hundreds of predators that roam the vast savannah plains
or go in search for the cheetahs found in the southern part of
the National Park. Optional Balloon Safari.
Day 5 | Ngorongoro Conservancy Area
After breakfast depart to the Ngorongoro Conservation
area with a brief stop at the Oldupai Gorge, one of the most
important prehistoric sites in the world to learn on human
evolution. We will enjoy an on-site talk on the interpretation
of the gorge by the resident guide before continuing your
journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Proceed
towards the rim of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater
stopping occasionally to admire the breath-taking vista
unfolding before you. Arrive for check in, thereafter lunch.
This afternoon just relax and enjoy the panoramic views of
the crater, the largest unbroken caldera in the world.
Day 6 | Full day Ngorongoro Conservancy Area
After breakfast descend some 600 metres into the crater,
which is home to an abundance of wildlife and a photogenic
paradise, for a full day of game-viewing drive with picnic
lunch at a private scenic site. The Ngorongoro Crater, the
largest intact caldera in the world teams with an abundance
of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Prides
of lions, herds of cape buffalo, impala, Thompson gazelles,
rhino, golden and black-backed jackal, zebra, cheetah,
leopard and the spotted hyena.
Day 7 | Tarangire National Park
This morning, we depart on a pleasant drive to Tarangire
National Park retains a real air of undiscovered Africa,
particularly in the south of the park.
Day 8 | Arusha
This morning enjoy your breakfast then check-out
