East London Design Show<br />
Boskke (top image, left) does gardening design with a twist. It<br />
aims to improve city life by encouraging abundant greenery at<br />
home and in the workplace. Your plant pots will never be the<br />
same again.<br />
Good Ordering (middle image, left) is a small company run<br />
from a flat on top of a bike shop in Hackney. They're fusing<br />
retro fashion with function, and producing a range of useful<br />
bags with technological gadgets and gizmos in mind.<br />
The picture on the right shows Myia Bonner's striking<br />
contemporary jewellery, defined by a geometric style that<br />
reinterprets traditional designs.<br />
BloomBox Club (bottom image, left) believes that gardening is<br />
good for the soul; it helps the bees buzz and the birds sing –<br />
and on a less existential note they believe that no matter how<br />
big or small your outdoor space, you can use it to the full to<br />
enhance your life. That's got to be true because just looking at<br />
their boxed plant arrangements makes me happy.<br />
