I want to take a moment to
share the wonderful experience
we had in working with Tinley
Park Kitchen & Bath in remodeling
our kitchen. While we
were initially uncertain whether
they could meet our design and
quality needs, as we got to know
our designer, Rachel, we grew
increasingly confident in her
abilities to design the kitchen we
wanted and their ability to offer
higher-end cabinetry.
Indeed, as we realized early
on, kitchen remodels can be expensive
and create a great deal
of inconvenience. We appreciated
the honesty of our designer,
and the timeline she established
for our remodel was pretty much
spot-on and perfect in its execution.
We also appreciated her incredible
patience with us. Her professionalism
was beyond compare
and we are truly grateful for her
willingness to help us through
our struggles, as we searched for
the highest-quality alternatives to
meet our needs. Rachel always
brought to the table numerous alternatives
and shared them with
us in such a pleasant and caring
manner.
I would also like to thank the
carpentry team that was assigned
to our project. These two individuals
were always polite, on
time and truly experts in their
multiple fields. I cannot overstate
how incredibly exceptional
the cuts were in the crown molding,
the cabinetry and the island.
Attention to detail was present
every day in their work. I truly
enjoyed having them in our
home.

The showroom’s exterior
is deceiving. An outdoor
observer has no idea how
big the place is. When one
enters, he or she is greeted
by a friendly staff who
takes the customer on a
tour of the 13,000-squarefoot
facility.
Customers can experience
two fully automated
smart homes, a lighting
studio, several gourmet
kitchens and audio demonstration
rooms, and five
spectacular home theaters.
Each theater has a different
theme, from the futuristic
Galaxy, to the art deco
Paradise, to the gentlemen’s
club-inspired Majestic.
The grand finale is a
two-story Chicago Theater
replica, complete with a
balcony.
Each is exquisitely
crafted with high-quality
materials, like stone columns,
acoustic treatment,
custom glass and metalwork.
There are lighting
options everywhere, and
each ceiling is unique —
one has a beautiful fiber
optic starfield. It’s like a
Disneyland for adults.
The second floor has a
furniture showroom with
more than 50 theater chairs
from which to choose, plus
several sectionals and
credenzas. Then, tour the
offices, where the CAD
designers work on plans
for several basements and
their 410th theater. Also,
see where the finishes are
selected — carpet, fabric,
tile, paint, custom cabinetry
and more.
It does not stop there.
Kole Digital started 18
years ago out of Rob’s
own home in Homer Glen,
and they were the first in
the area to specialize in
smart homes that feature
lighting control, climate,
motorized window treatments
and more.
Today, they offer every
conceivable home control
product. From an iPad,
customers can view cameras,
unlock a door, arm
a security system, select a
Pandora station and control
the volume in each
room of the house. They
even have an outdoor
kitchen display, complete
with an all-weather TV,
planter and rock speakers.
The space is always
changing. In the last few
months, a new interactive
space was added, so customers
can audition the
various control systems,
like Crestron, Vantage,
Control 4 and RTI. And
if customers are lucky,
they can get a sneak behind
the scenes at Kole’s
new teaching labs, where
they train what must be
the most talented installers
and programmers in their
field.

is infectious. He
has a passion for what he
does, and has his hands in
every design (they have 54
current projects and five
basements under construction).
He will also tell you that
no job is too small.
“Some people walk
in, purchase a Sony, LG
or Samsung TV, select a
credenza, speakers and
receiver all controlled by
a Universal remote, and
schedule installation one
day next week.”
Others contact them
when they are getting
ready to build their home.
“This is the best time to
bring in your house plans,
before you are too far
along.”
