In the beginning, dreams were big, but<br />
capabilities were smaller. First opened<br />
by Earl Lewis in the early 1950’s, the<br />
smallish 800-square-foot facility was devoted<br />
exclusively to carpeting and carpet<br />
cleaning. Since then, three generations<br />
of family members have grown the business,<br />
which has expanded several times<br />
under Steve Lewis’s direction. In 1997,<br />
to better meet their customers’ demand<br />
for greater flooring selection, Steve purchased<br />
the building and property adjacent<br />
to the original location and changed the<br />
company name to reflect even more goods<br />
and services. Now, Lewis Floor & Home<br />
is able to offer tile, wood, vinyl, countertops,<br />
window treatments, a rug gallery<br />
and fine cabinetry.<br />
The rest is history, featuring the absolute<br />
best in home design; fresh new ideas<br />
and fashions and constantly evolving<br />
installation services. They’ve changed<br />
with the times and set the bar, but have<br />
never lost sight of the fundamentals that<br />
have defined distinctions forever: quality<br />
products, a personal touch, community<br />
involvement, price points for every budget,<br />
a world-class caring staff and the best<br />
