Scotgrip ® Footsure stair nosings incorporate the unique Scotgrip ® high-traction anti-slip safety
surface which gives a sound foot-holding in the most extreme conditions. These tough and
durable products are manufactured under bS EN iS0 9001:2008 quality controlled conditions
comprising of a reinforced composite base and a graded aggregate surface. As a Scotgrip ®
quality standard, these products are fire rated, spark and friction tested.
The leading edge of a step is the most dangerous part,
especially if it has been damaged, worn smooth or
rounded by constant use. By installing Scotgrip ® Footsure
stair nosings not only is this slip hazard eliminated but
the lifespan of the step is greatly increased. These heavy
duty products are easily fitted onto open grating/grille,
chequered plate, concrete or wood.

Low Profile – 3mm aggregate ( 1 /8” approx.)

Colour coded in a wide range of colour schemes to suit individual locations.
Colour codes are: safety yellow, black/safety yellow, black,

Scotgrip ® Footsure stair nosings are manufactured in a wide range of standard
sizes (see table opposite). We regularly manufacture custom sizes to suit individual
locations.
EASE oF iNSTALLATioN
Scotgrip ® Footsure stair nosings are designed for quick and secure fitting, either by
mechanical fixings or bonding to existing surfaces. These products are pre-drilled
where required for quick installation. Scotgrip ® products are non-load bearing and
must have a suitable underlying structure to be secured to.
