SV-232 – powerful features
The perfect partner for the CD-S4
SV-232 is by quality and sound clearly to be classified above
SV-121, but stays with regard to the pricing below SV-234, the
flagship of the solidLine series, despite its high-quality features.
Some features, which already made the SV-234 a success also
here belong to the concept, such as the separately switchable
outputs for two speaker pairs, the connector for a support of
power control.

The amplifier SV-232 has multi-functional use
through a recording output, a pre-amplifier output,
remote control ability and the high-contrast
VFD display. But apart from the external appearance
this unit also scores with its internal values.
To deliver the proverbial Vincent performance
the SV-232 possesses a substantially
sized heat sink.
The transformer is manufactured
in the same high-quality
core design as already for
the SV-234, and is burdened
with clearly fewer turbulence
losses. The power of 260W
conveys a clear message.

Despite the immense pricing pressure
own technologies from the great archetypes
such as the pre-amplifier SA-
93Plus have been employed. Thus the
well-known Vincent preamp modules
are working in the pre-amplifier section.
This lends more clarity to the sound
characteristics and the sound gets more
precise, without losing musicality. The
electronic volume control results in clearly
improved synchronisation and
decreased ageing vulnerability compared
with a potentiometer.
