Athletic Director Bill Popp recorded<br />
his 300th career win as a head baseball<br />
coach when <strong>Reinhardt</strong> beat Virginia Intermont<br />
on March 20, <strong>2010</strong>. He earned 167<br />
wins as <strong>the</strong> Oglethorpe <strong>University</strong> head<br />
baseball coach. Now in his seventh season<br />
at <strong>Reinhardt</strong>, he finished <strong>the</strong> <strong>2010</strong> season<br />
with 317 career wins.<br />

Chris, <strong>welcomed</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir first child, daughter<br />
Reece Marissa, on July 12, <strong>2010</strong>. Richards<br />
is an admissions coordinator.<br />
Dr. Eddie Robertson received <strong>the</strong><br />
2009-10 Captain <strong>Reinhardt</strong> Award from<br />
<strong>the</strong> Student Government Association.<br />
Janet Rodning received <strong>the</strong> <strong>2010</strong> <strong>Reinhardt</strong><br />
Bridge Award. The annual award<br />
is given by faculty to a staff member in<br />
recognition and appreciation of his or her<br />
outstanding service and commitment to<br />
faculty and students. She is <strong>Reinhardt</strong>’s<br />
Registrar.<br />
Dr. S. Beth Russell, an associate professor<br />
of psychology, received <strong>the</strong> 2009-10<br />
Vulcan Teaching Excellence Award. This<br />
award recognizes outstanding contributions<br />
to undergraduate education, student learning<br />
and campus life.<br />
