PRINTING PROCESS/DATA DELIVERY
O� set, 60 lpi halftone resolution / printable PDF (standard pdf /
X-1a:2001, 300 dpi), CMYK colour model (DIN 16539 Euroscale),
typefaces, images, and logos embedded. Halftone images require
a resolution of 300 dpi, and line images at least 600 dpi. HKS and
Pantone special colours must laid out in Euroscale (cyan, magenta,
yellow, black).
Digital transmission of the advertising data only in closed � les. The
publisher can refuse to accept open � les (e.g. Corel Draw, InDesign,
QuarkXpress) and cannot be held liable for incorrect publication of
advertisements delivered in open � les.
Advertisements for the online forms of advertising must be supplied
by the client in suitable data formats upon consultation.
The limitations on the size of the individual forms of online advertising
must be complied with. The publisher accepts no liability for
incorrectly supplied � les.
True-colour proofs or print proofs with a colour test scale are requested
for colour advertisements. The proof or print-proof paper
must match the print stock. No liability is accepted for colour deviations
attributable to the paper quality.
If no proofs or print proofs are supplied, the publisher provides no
guarantee for colour � delity or other components of the advertisement.
The client is liable for ensuring that the supplied � les are free of
computer viruses. The publisher is authorised to erase � les containing
viruses without giving rise to any claims from the client
for compensation. The publisher also reserves the right to claim
compensation from the client if the computer viruses cause further
damage.
If the client does not comply with the publisher‘s recommendations
for producing and supplying digital print data and online
forms of advertising, he is not entitled to any claims for incorrect
publication.
