About Galerie Huit Arles<br />
Galerie Huit Arles is situated in a late 17 th century mansion, in the historical centre of town. Founded by<br />
author/conservationist Julia de Bierre in 2007, the gallery has acquired a solid reputation for its careful<br />
selection of artists – both established and emerging – and the quality and originality of its hangings and<br />
installations. The scale of the mansion provides rich and varied exhibition spaces, ranging from an intimate<br />
18 th century salon with gilded panelling to an ancient cellar.<br />
