LUX-UP TECHNOLOGY LIGHT ON DEMAND P-LUX LUX-UP technology has been designed to save energy and prolong the lamp life of compact fluorescent lamps(cfl’s) by dimming rather than the damaging function of continuous switching. P-LUX stands for passive infra red (PIR) controlled LUX-UP. P-lux LED Lanterns offer Space & Security lighting. Photo cell controlled and PIR activated the light will automatically come on at night at high level then dim down after 60 seconds or last activation, at dawn the light will switch off automatically. In this mode the P-LUX consumes less than 2watts of power whilst offering a subtle night light. Throughout the night when triggered by movement the P-LUX will LUX-UP to 8w to provide full luminance to the area, after a short period (60 sec) from the last trigger the P-LUX will dim back to Lux Down or (sleep mode).
