8 Insurance
8.1 General Liability Insurance Renewal
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the general liability insurance provided by MOPERM (Missouri Public Entity
Risk Management Fund) for the period of January 1, 2012 through December 31,2012 at a premium of $407,501.00. This is an
increase of $8,023.74.
If approved, this insurance will provide the district with the following coverage: general liability, public officials errors and omissions
(includes faculty), law enforcement liability, automobile liability, professional liability (includes nurses and allied health students),
employment practice liability and benefits liability coverages.
Lockton Companies, the College’s insurance broker, has determined there were no other programs on the market that offered the
same benefits as MOPERM and is competitive with current marketplace
