The <strong>Fiber</strong> <strong>Transport</strong> Site Related offering incorporates a range of fiber optic cables,<br />
joint closures <strong>and</strong> accessories <strong>for</strong> all kinds of network <strong>and</strong> interconnect applications.<br />
All products have been designed <strong>and</strong> tested <strong>for</strong> optimal installation functionality,<br />
as well as resistance to fire, chemicals <strong>and</strong> environmental damage.<br />
Outdoor Installations<br />
Cables <strong>for</strong> Duct Installation<br />
The range of cables <strong>for</strong> duct installation includes all our five basic designs: concentric<br />
core, slotted core, slotted core ribbon, DryTech TM <strong>and</strong> ribbon in loose tubes.<br />
The duct installation cables include both metallic <strong>and</strong> dielectric cables with fiber counts<br />
of up to several hundred fibers. The fibers can be of different types <strong>and</strong> different types of<br />
fiber can be mixed in the same cable. The duct cables can be supplied with aluminum foil<br />
as a moisture barrier. Aramid or glass yarn can be added <strong>for</strong> extra axial pulling strength.<br />
Glass yarn or polyamide can be used as protection against rodents.<br />
TOL 401 1013 <strong>and</strong> TOL 401 1001 GASLDV<br />
4-fiber ribbon cable using slotted core design.<br />
The design reduces installation costs <strong>and</strong> gives<br />
superior fiber protection. The cable is dielectric,<br />
making it suitable <strong>for</strong> installation where there is<br />
electrical interference.<br />
TOL 401 1002 <strong>and</strong> TOL 401 1020 GASLDV<br />
8-fiber ribbon cable using slotted core design.<br />
The design allows high packing density that<br />
reduces installation costs <strong>and</strong> gives superior fiber<br />
protection. Water-blocking filling compound in the<br />
TOL 401 1002 cable <strong>and</strong> dry water-blocking tape<br />
in the TOL 410 1020 cable prevents water penetration<br />
along the cables. The cable is dielectric,<br />
TOL 401 1018 GASALV<br />
4-fiber ribbon cable using slotted core design,<br />
which reduces installation costs <strong>and</strong> gives<br />
superior fiber protection. The cable uses 4-fiber<br />
ribbons. Aluminum foil provides an excellent moisture<br />
barrier, making the cable suitable <strong>for</strong> humid<br />
environments.<br />

ribbons. Aluminum foil provides an excellent moisture<br />
barrier, making the cable suitable <strong>for</strong> humid<br />

TOL 401 2017 GRCLDV<br />
Loose tube cable with concentric core design,<br />
resulting in a cost-effective solution. The cable is<br />
all dielectric. DryTech TM filling compound is used<br />
in the cable core. Maximum capacity is 16 tubes<br />
with 12 fibers in each.<br />
TOL 401 2064 GRCALV<br />
Loose tube cable with concentric core design <strong>and</strong><br />
aluminum foil, which provides an excellent moisture<br />
barrier, making the cable suitable <strong>for</strong> humid<br />
environments. DryTech TM filling compound is used<br />
in the cable core. Maximum capacity is 16 tubes<br />
with 12 fibers in each.<br />
TOL 401 2044 GRCGLDV<br />

aramid yarn <strong>for</strong> extra pulling strength. The cable is<br />

TOL 401 2012 GRHLDV<br />
Loose tube cable with concentric core design,<br />
resulting in a cost-effective solution. The cable is<br />
dielectric, making it suitable <strong>for</strong> environments with<br />
a high risk of electrical interference. Maximum<br />
capacity is 12 tubes with 12 fibers in each.<br />
