GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

Post top luminaire for vertical HID lamp, totally 

enclosed. Supplied with Type V square optical 

system. Die-cast aluminum fixture housing is 

supported by a square extruded aluminum yoke 

bracket. Gasketed, cast aluminum box supplied 

on top of 750 and 1000W PSMH, 1000W MH, 

250 and 400W HPS fixtures for lamp clearance. 

Mounting base is designed to fit inside a 

4" square pole. Provided are four 5/16" steel 

screws that secure mounting to pole. Lens 

assembly consists of rigid aluminum frame 

and clear, sag tempered glass.

320 – 400W PSMH and 400W MH utilize the 

ED28 reduced envelope lamp. 1000W PSMH & 

MH utilize the BT37 reduced envelope lamp. 

Pulse-rated porcelain enclosed, 4kv (5kv for 750 

& 1000W PSMH) rated screw-shell-type 

lampholder with spring-loaded center contact. 

Lamp ignitor included where required. All ballast 

assemblies are high-power factor and use the 

following circuit type:

powder topcoat, providing excellent resistance 

to corrosion, ultraviolet degradation and 

abrasion. The finish is covered by our sevenyear

relamping. UL Listed in the US and Canada for 

wet locations and enclosure classified IP54 per
