The well-known designer Maria Berntsen has created a new<br />
collection of oven-to-table stoneware serving dishes, bowls,<br />
and pitcher. The new collection is called Arena and it consists<br />
of 11 different pieces in 6 different colours.<br />
The designer took her inspiration for the collection's shape<br />
and colours from the sandy beaches of Scandinavia.<br />
Asymmetrical shapes mix with round and squared elements<br />
with rounded corners, as if they had been gently worn away<br />
by time and the sea. The colours are delicate: dusty green,<br />
blue, light grey, turquoise, beige and sand. Each piece<br />
comes in its own colour, so you can compose your very<br />
own symphony of colours for your table. The shape and<br />
colours meld together to create a unique and inspirational<br />
experience for the user.<br />
The designer chose stoneware for its ability to resist thermal<br />
shock. All Arena products can be used to store food in<br />
the refrigerator and freezer and can be placed directly in the<br />
microwave or the oven.<br />

Cutlery – rust spots on your cutlery<br />
eb harmony cutlery from <strong>erik</strong> <strong>bagger</strong> a/s is made<br />
from stainless steel. However, rust spots may<br />
occur if the cutlery does not receive the correct<br />
treatment and handling.<br />
Rust spots can occur if stainless steel cutlery is<br />
washed with items not made of stainless steel -<br />
or which are already rusted. So check your garlic<br />
press and especially the cheese cutter - one of the<br />
worst offenders.<br />
Rust spots can also be found when unwashed<br />
cutlery has stood for too long coated with food<br />
particles containing vinegar, citric or lactic acids,<br />
or salt, which corrodes the surface of the cutlery.<br />
So always remember to rinse your cutlery before<br />
washing up.<br />
Glass disease<br />

Glass disease appears as a<br />
white line on the glass. The<br />
line emerges as the result of tiny<br />
holes and degradations in the glass that cannot<br />
be seen with the naked eye. Glass disease often<br />
appears after a piece has been washed a number<br />
of times in the dishwasher. Once it appears, the<br />
milky white colour cannot be removed.<br />
In the unlikely event that your <strong>erik</strong> <strong>bagger</strong> products<br />
develop glass disease, you can return them to us<br />
and naturally we will exchange them for you. We<br />
offer a 2-year guarantee against glass disease for<br />
all of our glass products.<br />
Dishwasher – detergent measurement and<br />
temperature<br />
If your glasses are "cloudy" or look like glasses<br />
that have held milk, this can be the result of<br />
using too much detergent or rinse aid.<br />
It is important to use the right amount of dishwasher<br />
salt, dishwasher detergent and rinse aid.<br />
It is also important to wash your glasses using the<br />
correct dishwasher temperature.<br />
All <strong>erik</strong> <strong>bagger</strong> glass products are dishwasher safe<br />
on the glass programme.
