The well-known designer Maria Berntsen has created a new
collection of oven-to-table stoneware serving dishes, bowls,
and pitcher. The new collection is called Arena and it consists
of 11 different pieces in 6 different colours.
The designer took her inspiration for the collection's shape
and colours from the sandy beaches of Scandinavia.
Asymmetrical shapes mix with round and squared elements
with rounded corners, as if they had been gently worn away
by time and the sea. The colours are delicate: dusty green,
blue, light grey, turquoise, beige and sand. Each piece
comes in its own colour, so you can compose your very
own symphony of colours for your table. The shape and
colours meld together to create a unique and inspirational
experience for the user.
The designer chose stoneware for its ability to resist thermal
shock. All Arena products can be used to store food in
the refrigerator and freezer and can be placed directly in the
microwave or the oven.
