The WM9705 is a high-quality stereo audio codec with an integrated touch screen controller. It performs full-duplex 18-bit codec functions and supports variable sample rates<br />

from 8 to 48k samples/s with high SNR.<br />

The WM9712L is a highly integrated input / output device designed for mobile computing and communications. The device can connect directly to a 4-wire or 5-wire<br />

touchpanel, mono or stereo microphones, stereo headphones and a mono speaker. Additionally, phone input and output pins are provided for seamless integration with<br />

wireless communication devices.<br />

The WM9713L is architected for dual CODEC operation, supporting Hi-Fi stereo Codec functions via the AC link interface, and additionally supporting voice Codec functions via a PCM type<br />

Power Management with Audio<br />

The WM8351/WM8352 are integrated audio CODECs that allows for the direct connection of headphones and microphones. A programmable low-noise bias voltage is<br />

available to feed one or more electret microphones. They includes four/six programmable DC-DC converters respectively, four low-dropout (LDO) regulators and a current limit<br />

switch to generate suitable supply voltages for each part of the system, as well as off-chip components such as a digital core and I/O supplies, and LED lighting. An additional<br />

on-chip regulator maintains the backup power for always-on functions. These CODECs can be powered by a lithium battery, by a wall adaptor or USB.<br />

The WM8753L is a low power, high quality stereo Codec with integrated PCM CODEC designed for portable digital telephony applications such as mobile phone, or headset<br />

with Hi-Fi playback capability. The device integrates dual interfaces for two differentially connected microphones, and includes drivers for speakers, headphone and earpiece.<br />

Advanced on-chip digital signal processing performs tone control, bass boost and automatic level control for the microphone or line input through the ADC. The two ADCs may<br />

be used to support voice noise cancellation in a partnering DSP, or for stereo recording.<br />

USB Host Audio Decoder ICs<br />

The BU9457KV/BU9458KV integrate USB 2.0 memory/SD card host audio and system controllers on a single chip. This configuration combines a<br />

controller and an audio decoder that utilizes commands from a CPU simplifying the design and reducing the number of external components. Both<br />

components are designed with an ESD resistance ±6000V at the USB terminal, 15kV against proximity (air) discharge (when used in conjunction with an<br />

external Zener diode), and 8kV against direct (contact) discharge, providing superior strength against surge noise, resulting in unsurpassed reliability. The<br />

BU9457KV/BU9458KV are compatible with MMC SD, miniSD, microSD, SDHC and support MPEG1,2,2.5 and Layer1,2,3.<br />
