EAP ESCONDIDO MUNICIPAL GALLERY<br />
THE ESCONDIDO ARTS PARTNERSHIP (EAP) is the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Escondido</strong> <strong>of</strong>ficial non-pr<strong>of</strong>it<br />
arts agency. Established in December 1995 to promote <strong>Escondido</strong> art and artists, the<br />
EAP’s goal is to nurture an environment where the arts can prosper and to enhance the<br />
quality <strong>of</strong> life for <strong>Escondido</strong>’s residents and visitors. The EAP is dedicated to promoting<br />
art and culture in <strong>Escondido</strong>, supporting local artists, and providing art education to the<br />
community.<br />
The <strong>Escondido</strong> Municipal Gallery operated by the EAP is located at 142 West<br />
Grand Avenue in downtown <strong>Escondido</strong>. This unique venue presents eight juried shows<br />
each year, along with an annual exhibition <strong>of</strong> emerging young artists work. The Gallery is<br />
open Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free<br />
