“Oh how I loved teaching at CST, whether I was directing the Chapel Choir,
teaching classes, private voice, rehearsing for operas, musicals, tours or as an
academic advisor.”
I was lucky enough, my first years, to work with the Chapel Choir. These
generous women, staying in the choir for four years, enhanced the liturgies with
voice and commitment. It was thrilling to hear the member of the student body
fill that beautiful chapel, by participating in the Eucharist with their voices and
smiles.
Teaching classes and private students allowed me to see their creativity develop
and to hear them discover their many gifts.
I was fortunate enough to work with many of these students, on a one to one
basis for four years. This gave me time to come to understand their goals and
fears, to pray with them, and to journey together.
Now, as I hear from so many of these women and men, I am so proud to hear of their accomplishments in
this world. They have become leaders, sharing their own particular gifts.
They have become friends, and I give thanks for the joy they have given me.
