Fitness Instruction <strong>and</strong> Exercise Science<br />

Professional Certificate Program:<br />

A partnership with The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) & The American Council on Exercise (ACE)<br />

<strong>Course</strong> <strong>Schedule</strong> of Offerings<br />

All courses are offered twice a year in alternating quarters, with the exception of “Techniques of Group Training <strong>and</strong><br />

Exercise,” one of three electives, which is offered only in the summer quarter. <strong>Course</strong>s are held on weeknights or on<br />

weekends, at the La Jolla Campus, University City Center or the Mission Valley Center (see the catalog or Extension<br />

website for the address, map <strong>and</strong> directions). Please note that a $60 nonrefundable certificate application fee is<br />

required <strong>and</strong> can be submitted at any time before or during your coursework.<br />
