At a broader level our graduates also work as
community and international development
workers, educators, and as government policy
makers and advisers.
We have trainee counselling offices at Footscray
Nicholson and Werribee campuses, a specialised
sleep laboratory, an interactive laboratory for
social work and psychology, and children’s
services. Our staff include professionals in their
fields achieving breakthroughs in research, with
an open-door policy to students.
A career in human services can be as diverse as
your imagination allows, and your studies may
lead you all over the world. We have forged
partnerships with industry including Western
Health and the Australian Psychological
Association, and our international links extend
to Oz Aid, the University of the South Pacific
and organisations in India and East Timor.
