REPORTS
RP-1 YOUTH REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE ARTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Recommendation:
On the motion of Harry Holbrook and Matthew Dombrovski
That Matika Little represent the Youth Advisory Committee at the next Arts
Advisory Committee Meeting. Further representation to be determined at the next
Committee Meeting.

RP-2 YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE CONSTITUTION
Recommendation:
On the motion of Harry Holbrook and Brooke Durigo
That the Committee adopt the Youth Advisory Committee Constitution with the
following amendments; page 8 – section 3 (4) the words ‘Council’s Management
Plan’ to be replaced with ‘Council’s Delivery Plan’ and page 14 – section 11 (1) the
number ‘three (3)’ to be replaced with ‘six (6)’.
RP-3 ELECTION OF YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE CHAIR
Recommendation:
On the motion of Alexandra Lowe and Matthew Dombrovski
CARRIED
a Determine the form of election for Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson
b Determine the period to be served by the Chairperson and the Deputy
Chairperson
c Elect a Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson for the Youth Advisory
Committee
Laura Byrne was elected Chairperson of the Youth Advisory Committee until
September 2012.
Matika Little was elected Deputy Chairperson for the Youth Advisory Committee
until September 2012.
RP-4 STRATEGIC PLANNING FORMAT
Recommendation:

That the key focus areas for Committee will be transport, events and promotion of
events. These areas will be dicussed and workshoped in the fortnightly informal
committee meetings.
RP-5 COMMUNITY SERVICES OVERVIEW
Recommendation:
On the motion of Alexandra Lowe and Harry Holbrook
That the Committee receive and note the report.
RP-6 INTERNET WEBSITES

a) That the committee discuss report at the next informal committee meeting .
b) That a representative from the Media and Communications Division of
Council be invited to attend the next informal Committee Meeting.
GENERAL BUSINESS
GB-1 STATE YOUTH COUNCIL CONFERENCE
Matthew Dombrovski raised that the State Youth Council Conference will take
Place in November 2011.
Action: Council Officers to investgate conference details, and report back
to next informal meeting.
The Youth Advisory Committee rose at 6:25pm.
