a total of $325,283. The cumulative total of
annual gifts and capital gifts made since
these classes held their last reunion in 2007
is $2,567,857.
The class of 1962, which celebrated its
50th reunion, won the Porcelain Bridge
Award for the highest philanthropic participation;
40 percent of the class made a
gift to the Tufts Dental Fund. The 50th
reunioners also received the Golden
Crown Award for the greatest overall giving
(annual gifts and capital gifts) since
2007, totaling $1,364,981. The award for
largest Dental Fund reunion gift total went
to the class of 1977, which raised $63,554,
breaking the previous record for the 35th
reunion class gift. The newest giving award,
the Impression Award, which is presented
to the fifth or 10th reunion class with the
highest participation, was given to D07;
16 percent of the class made a gift to the
Dental Fund.
