application of the Threshold of Toxicological Concern to risk assessment of food packaging<br />
materials.<br />

Manufacturers Association, will provide an update on the Pew Food Additives Project and<br />
implications for the food packaging supply chain.<br />

implications of domestic and international regulation of chemicals in consumer products for<br />
approaches to product safety assessment.<br />

assessment at Procter & Gamble – current approaches and practices – and provide an update<br />
on the proceedings and out<strong>com</strong>es of a recent public workshop at CalEPA’s Department of<br />
Toxic Substances Control where industry practices for product improvement were presented as<br />
a viable approach to alternatives assessment.<br />
2:45 p.m. Tod F. Eberle, Vice President, Quality Systems, Engineering Standards, and Blow<br />
Molding Process Technologies, Amcor Rigid Plastics North America, will provide an<br />
update on the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), with a focus on evolving<br />
requirements for food packaging manufacturers in GFSI-recognized certification schemes.<br />
