DESIGN 101: Introduction to Perspective Drawing<br />
Friday, November 2 | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm<br />

This one-day class introduces basic drawing skills for anyone pursuing a career in the construction<br />
industry. These skills will give students the confidence to draw or sketch concepts and details to<br />
architects, landscape architects, clients, and the construction crew. Good visual communication<br />
can make the difference between success and failure and the ability to captivate a client. With<br />
great illustrations, you will drive the value of the project and be able to demand higher fees. This<br />
class is a prerequisite for the DESIGN 201 – 204 and 211 classes.<br />
CONSTRUCTION 201: Elements of Construction<br />
Saturday, November 3 - Monday, November 5 | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm<br />

This 3-day program is divided into several modules (see ENGINEERING 101-104, CONSTRUCTION<br />
101-109, and CONSTRUCTION 171 for specific details) presented by experts in each trade.<br />
This program begins with engineering topics such as basic hydraulics, geotechnical, structural,<br />
and electrical design. With a basic understanding of engineering, Day 2 begins with layout,<br />
forming, and coordination of utilities, safety barriers, and other related infrastructure. Shotcrete,<br />
waterproofing, tile and coping trades are also addressed. The final day includes concrete<br />
decking, plaster, startup details, and an interactive walkthrough of a sample project from<br />
beginning to end.<br />
This program is designed to move each student through all the phases of basic pool construction<br />
in great detail unlike anything else offered in the industry it will make every builder better and<br />
it is a requirement for both the SWD and <strong>Genesis</strong> 3 Service Professional certifications. It is also a<br />
prerequisite for CONSTRUCTION 401: Advanced Watershape Construction.<br />

Winemaker Dinner. We go back to our roots by bringing our friend and one of Paso Robles’<br />
top winemakers, Gary Eberle, back into the <strong>Genesis</strong> 3 fold. Gary is considered to be one<br />
of the founding fathers of the Paso Robles Appellation, one of the fastest growing in the<br />
country. Our first Family reunion and many of our Level One classes included the fine wines<br />
of Eberle Winery.<br />
Gary will describe the unique characteristics that go into each bottle at Eberle Winery,<br />
