And so Annais Bridal has for the first time exhibited
this September at the biggest trade fair in the
bridal industry in Britain - The British Bridal Exhibition
in Harrogate in the North of England. The
main purpose of our first show was to gather valuable
information regarding the exhibition itself as
well as the british bridal industry, especially since
it’s a completely new market for us. Exhibition space
is enormous, but companies are located in many
smaller and larger halls, so entering one of them
does not make such an impression, as we know
from the huge halls in Essen. However, you can
feel overwhelmed after the first glance at the list
of exhibitors. The feedback from our existing and
new customers reasurred us that we are offering
a product that is different and very good. We have
beautiful custom designed lace - Cherry, Emporia,
Sweety, Amaranta, Brittany, Miracle, Mirabel -
which pleases regardless of latitude. Therefore, we
definitely plan to exhibit next September in Harrogate
and in the meantime we encourage retailers to

Sweety style - this lace finish is really admirable
On The Polish Wedding Show in 2011, presenting
the world fashion trends, Annais Bridal
surprised all guests with a short asymmetrical
dress made from Richelieu lace. This dress
has not passed unnoticed. Comments in the
audience were various – from one extreme to
the other.
I was a bit shocked by a comment of a young
girl, who said, „The model in this dress looks
like a hostess, this style is completely inappropriate
for a wedding, more suitable for a
disco.”
If you actually had a very slim figure and beautiful
legs, would you not be tempted to put
on a short dress? I think that a woman, who
will have enough courage to dress in the Orelie
style designed by Annais deserves sincere
congratulations. Firstly because of the impeccable
figure (I can not imagine that you could
wear this dress in a larger size) as well as courage
in breaking stereotypes. Many women
on daily basis are not confident enough to put
on a mini skirt, let alone on their own wedding.

„Beautiful dress, but I do not have figures for
this type of cut” - whispered a girl, slim – about
175cm tall – „my thighs and and bum are
way to fat” - she added. Her mother commented-”If
I was at a church wedding where the
bride would be in a mini like that, which would
barely cover her charms, I would definitely disapprove
it, moreover, your grandmother and
aunt would not like it at all, and what would
the priest say? „
I personally believe that a short dress can be
as elegant as a long one, what’s most important
is to feel good in it. With that style maybe
the designer went a bit to far with the length
- the dress barely reaches half the thigh, but
as a whole it looks great. It reminds me of a
Coco Chanel outfit from the 20’s – a little white
dress. The gowns bridal nature is highlighted
by a very original and trendy Richelieu lace,
which is covers the gown.
In my opinion, short dresses are not the negation
of tradition nor elegance, it is not a faux
pas according to me to wear such a dress in
the church.
