Bootable USB Hard Drive<br />
Simply plug the <strong>GlobeTrotter</strong> <strong>2.0</strong> into the USB port of a host<br />
PC and turn it on. Hardware is automatically detected but<br />
not modified in any way. A bootable MiniCD is included<br />
for computers that cannot boot directly from USB. When<br />
you’re finished, you can take <strong>GlobeTrotter</strong> <strong>2.0</strong> to a different<br />
workstation with up to 80GB of your data, applications, and<br />
personal settings.<br />
Powerful Linux Applications<br />
With Mandriva Linux Limited Edition 2005, you get the power<br />
of a state-of-the-art Linux system. It comes with office and<br />
lifestyle applications including the OpenOffice.org productivity<br />
Suite, integrated personal information suites such as Kontact<br />
and Evolution, award-winning K3b CD/DVD burning software,<br />
development tools, and more.<br />

<strong>GlobeTrotter</strong> <strong>2.0</strong> is based on the <strong>LaCie</strong> Mobile Hard Drive<br />
Design by F.A. Porsche. It’s built to withstand life on the go,<br />
with a durable exterior and rubber feet underneath to prevent<br />
it from slipping off tabletops. A sturdy metal plate aids in heat<br />
dissipation, and the USB cable provides power eliminating the<br />
need for cumbersome AC adapters.
