Electronic Scoring Machine (ESM)<br />

The ESM is a multi-functional, wireless scoring<br />

machine based on Bluetooth Technology.<br />

Usable for Kyorugi as well as for Poomsae in Taekwondo.<br />

1. Poomsae<br />

ESM as scoring machine for technical and artistic grading<br />

of the athletes.<br />

2. Kyorugi<br />

In conjunction with the adidas Electronic Body Protector<br />

(EBP) the referees count only the head points<br />

(according to World Taekwondo Federation) through<br />

the ESM. Without the use of EBP the referees count<br />

all points with the ESM (head and body points).<br />
